About The Red Group

Redline Buses and Red Rose Travel are well-established bus operators with strong roots in the Home Counties, each having grown steadily from modest beginnings into respected regional providers. Red Rose Travel was established in the early 1990s by Taj Khan in partnership with the late Chris Day, with early operations centred on Aylesbury and the surrounding villages, including the successful launch of Aylesbury’s Linkline Route 7, before growing into a wider network of public and contracted services. Redline Buses was also founded in the mid 1990s, initially operating just two Mercedes 709 vehicles, and expanded over the years across Aylesbury, Oxford, Slough and surrounding areas, providing a mix of local bus services, inter-urban routes and dedicated school transport.

Today, both companies operate together under The Red Group, combining their experience, resources and operational expertise to deliver reliable transport services across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Slough. As The Red Group, the business now operates a combined fleet of over 100 vehicles, including modern, accessible buses and coaches, supporting a broad portfolio of public bus routes, school services and contracted operations. This unified structure enables the Group to maintain high standards of safety, reliability and customer service while continuing its long-standing commitment to the communities it serves.
